Newest Initiatives
We provide meals to foster families upon the placement of a child in emergency foster care. These placements typically require a rapid transition from biological parents to a relative or an approved foster parent, often occurring with minimal notice. Additionally, funding is frequently not reimbursed in advance. Our organization alleviates the burden on foster families by offering support in the form of gift cards or prepared hot meals.
Who We Serve
We are on a mission to nourish those in our community who need it most. Whether it's veterans, senior citizens, single parents, or the homeless, we serve a wide range of families with unique needs. Our toolkit of programs is designed to cater to these specific needs, including handy mobile food pantries and more.
WASTE PREVENTION PROGRAM
Feeding In Motion is a mobile food bank committed to ending food waste and hunger in our community. Our organization partners with food banks, food pantries, soup kitchens, and non-profits to collect excess edible food and distribute it to those in need. We also work with food runners and for-profit food recovery services to broaden our impact. By donating your excess edible food to Feeding In Motion, you can make a real difference in the lives of individuals and families who are struggling. Join us today in our mission to end food waste and hunger.
